What we store
- Nothing about who you are when you search, browse or open a job. No account. We count visits, searches and job views anonymously: what happened, a rough device type (phone or computer), and your country and town as the network reports them (for example Nigeria, Lagos). Never an address. No name, no IP address, no ID.
- Alerts: the email address you type in, the keywords and location you chose, and the time you gave consent. That is all.
- Employer posts: the company name, contact email and job details you submit.
- Reports: the listing you reported and, if you give it, your email so we can follow up.
- Phone notifications: if you turn them on, the delivery address and keys your browser gives us, what you were looking for when you said yes (search words, place, field), the addresses of jobs you saved (for “closes tomorrow” reminders), and when we last sent one.
Why
To send you the alerts you asked for, to publish and moderate employer posts, and to take down bad listings. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone, and we do not use them for anything else.
Who we use to do it
Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery, from Ireland). Each only sees what it needs to do its job. Our Telegram channel is public; joining it shares nothing with us.
Your choices
- Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your alert within 30 days.
- Turn phone notifications off on the Alerts page or in your browser settings. Turning them off on the Alerts page deletes your subscription straight away; one we can no longer deliver to is deleted at the next send.
- Email privacy@quickroles.africa to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you. We answer within 7 days.
Cookies and your device
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Saved jobs, your quiz picks and whether you dismissed a prompt are stored on your own phone or computer only; they never reach our servers. To count unique visitors without an ID, your browser also notes whether it has visited this month and today; only that yes or no reaches us.
Job listings
Listings come from public sources. We show the facts (title, employer, location, pay if stated, deadline) plus a short summary, and link to the original. Full descriptions appear only where the source permits it. To have a listing removed, email hello@quickroles.africa.
